Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using SchoolOpsAI ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you are using the Service on behalf of a school district or organization, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organization to these terms.

Description of Service

SchoolOpsAI is a data analytics platform that connects to school district data systems and provides AI-powered insights, dashboards and reporting tools for education leaders. The Service is intended for use by authorized school district personnel only.

User Accounts

  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
  • You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
  • Account access is granted based on your role within the district and is subject to role-based permissions.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Access or attempt to access data you are not authorized to view
  • Share your login credentials with unauthorized individuals
  • Use the Service to store or transmit malicious code or harmful content
  • Reverse engineer, decompile or attempt to extract the source code of the Service
  • Use the Service in any way that violates applicable laws or regulations

Data Ownership

All student and district data uploaded to or processed by SchoolOpsAI remains the property of the school district. We do not claim ownership of your data. Districts may export or request deletion of their data at any time.

Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, features, code and documentation, is owned by SchoolOpsAI and protected by intellectual property laws. Your use of the Service does not grant you ownership of any intellectual property rights in the Service.

Service Availability

We strive to maintain high availability of the Service but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may perform scheduled maintenance with advance notice. We are not liable for any downtime or service interruptions beyond our reasonable control.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, SchoolOpsAI shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the fees paid by your district in the twelve months preceding the claim.

Termination

Either party may terminate the service agreement with 30 days written notice. Upon termination, we will provide the district an opportunity to export its data before deletion. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access for violations of these terms.

Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. We will notify affected districts of material changes via email. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

Governing Law

These terms shall be governed by the laws of the State of California without regard to conflict of law provisions.
